The annual Milford Twp Volunteer Fire Company carnival runs from Tuesday June 9th through Sat June 13, 2009 – Friday night (6/12) is fireworks night (rain date is Sat 6/13). The volunteers of the fire company man the “carnival kitchen” providing great steak sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage sandwiches, chicken fingers and french fries – all proceeds benefit the Milford Twp Volunteer Fire Co!
There is no entrance fee to the carnival, however a parking donation is requested on Friday night (which goes directly to the fire company, too). Tickets are sold for the carnival rides; and the ‘carnies’ provide games and carnival snacks for purchase.
Come out and support this Upper Bucks event – have fun and support the Milford Twp Volunteer Fire Co at the same time!

Hi there. Just recently became aware of your site and I’m impressed. I particularly like your calendar of events and how easy it is to use.
I’m a holistic physician and run a collaborative practice in Langhorne. I’m passionate about food, health and education, so we hold a monthly “Healthy Eating Food Group” at the office. It began as a gluten-free support group, and has evolved into a monthly potluck where we share good food and talk about lots of different things—recently topics have included fermented foods, anti-inflammatory diets, even a knife skills class! The group is open to the public, so I’m wondering if you would be interested in including it on your calendar.

January Sales Event at Peddler’s Village ~ January 1 & 30

Women Build Wine Tasting ~ September 16 (6pm – 8pm)
The Women Build Wine Tasting event will be held on September 16, 6-8pm at the Habitat office (31 Oak Avenue, Chalfont). The event will feature wine tasting by Chaddsford Winery as well as samplings from Cabot Creamery, Dove Chocolates, Tastefully Simple and Heaven on a Plate. Radio personality, Marilyn Russell from Ben FM, will join us along with some of our partner families. Raffle items available include a gift certificate for a Wine Tasting for 20 people from Chaddsford Winery, a $500 value! Tickets for the event are $25 per person.
